Chris is a pioneer and innovator in the infosec community. He has a distinguished career of 20+ years, was a founder of the Verizon Threat Research Advisory Center, named a Top Cybersecurity Leader by Security Magazine, and is an inaugural member of President Biden's Cyber Safety Review Board. Chris routinely consults for multinational corporations and government agencies regarding their cybersecurity posture, as well as advising executive leadership teams, advisory boards, and boards of directors through cybersecurity incidents and strategic planning.

Chris leads a world-class team of consultants located across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. His team leads thousands of cybersecurity investigations and penetration tests annually. His team has also been consistently rated by external analyst firms as being a leader in the market.

His passion for cybersecurity shines through in his continued contributions to education, awareness and thought leadership. He has been a contributing author to the industry-leading Data Breach Investigations Report going back to its inception in 2008. He has been a public speaker at hundreds of events spanning 40+ countries.

He continues to advise numerous corporate executive leadership teams and boards of directors. Over the last decade, he has provided cyber risk guidance on a multitude of corporate acquisitions totaling over $6b. Chris has also provided perspective on public policy through briefings to U.S. congressional committees such as Senate Banking, House Financial Services, House Homeland Security, Senate Homeland Security and others… He has also been featured in such media outlets as CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, ABC News, CBS News, American Banker, SkyNews, and many others. Chris is also a passionate supporter of various efforts to grow and enhance the diversity and inclusiveness of the cybersecurity field.
