Vivek is Vice President of Engineering – for Colt’s global network. Additionally, he is the Country Head and Managing Director of Colt India. Is an alumni of Cambridge University – completing the Senior Management Programme from Judge business school and executive/leadership coaching.

With 23 years of experience in Strategic & Operational Leadership profiles of global accountabilities, Vivek leads the Engineering function that architects, develops and evolves Colt’s core fibre and electronics network in the most efficient and reliable fashion – to drive customer satisfaction up and operating cost low.

As the Managing Director of Colt India, Vivek is additionally responsible for general administration and overall operations of the India entity; across two locations – Bangalore and Gurugram. It is underpinned with comprehensive understanding of business strategy, industry knowledge, local market, as well as executive leadership. And focuses on areas like: a) Legal and Regulatory b) Risk Management and Governance c) Employee Engagement d) External Relations and e) Business Co-ordination.

With an Annual Investment accountability of 100M+ euros, his engineering responsibilities span across 32 countries, as he understands the market across major business hubs. This global network, customers and a 350 member team, positions him as a senior executive in the industry who firmly believes in the value of Diversity & Inclusion. Vivek is a versatile telecom leader with excellent exposure of carrier class networks & cloud business through leading service providers; has a “Mission Critical” mindset to deliver complex technology & transformational programmes. Sets clear vision for establishing new units from scratch, or merging functions to attain business/operational excellence. Forging CxO interactions and providing value driven consultative engagement to align techno-commercial and business objectives. Effective communicator with exceptional relationship management and analytical execution skills.

His team builds connectivity solutions for enterprises & wholesale customers on a highly available & secure global network which is powered by next generation, virtualized & software defined technologies in Optical, Ethernet, IP, Voice and Security domains. They enable digital transformation of businesses through an intelligent, sustainable and cloud-integrated network.
