Mark Atkinson is a global technology and business executive with 25+ years of experience scaling global businesses, pioneering innovations and leading high-performing teams across Europe, the US, and Asia.

He currently leads Nokia’s Radio Access Networks (RAN) Business Unit, a multi-billion-euro business central to Nokia’s global success. In this role, he oversees global P&L, portfolio strategy, product management, marketing, and solution support - driving growth while accelerating next generation innovations, including Cloud RAN, Open RAN, System-on-Chip technologies, and AI-powered automation.

He previously led Nokia’s 5G Business Unit, managing 4,000 employees worldwide and spearheading the commercialization of 5G technology with Tier-1 operators. His career highlights include scaling emerging technology businesses, leveraging strategic M&A and high value partnerships, and securing landmark customer agreements across multiple regions.
